They say It's gone no more hep c after treatment. ??? YET IN ITS PLACE I HAVE CANCER!

Not a fair trade. Anyone have info on this concerned issue.?

  1. Hi . Welcome to the community! I so am glad you found us, especially now with all you have going on. My heart aches for you. Cancer is scary, no doubt. It is certainly unfair that you were cured from hep C only to learn you now have it. Do you have much support at home write now? Have you started treatment?
I am going to assume you have liver cancer since you came to this communuty for support. Can you tell us more about your hep C and your liver cancer? Did you have hep C long before you were diagnosed? How soon after you were cured were you diagnosed with cancer?
Here is an article about liver cancer and hep C that might interest you: https://hepatitisc.net/clinical/cancer-in-liver. Here is another article from one of our health leaders about her own treatment decisions: https://hepatitisc.net/clinical/liver-cancer-treatments. Keep in mind the article was written in 2018, so treatment choices might have changed since. I am not sure whether the author, Karen Hoyt, is still active in the community, but she might respond if you tag her in reply to her article.
I hope others who have experienced liver cancer chime in with their own experiences. I also hope Karen's story gives you reason for optimism. Please know we are here for you whenever you need us. Sending lots of healing vibes and gentle hugs your way. - Lori (Team Member)
