free of hep C
i was diagnosed with hep c in 2025. i was 65 and had it since i would say 18 or 19. i got it by using heroin. anyway going forward i was given epclusa and now im hep c free for 5 months now. i’m still in shock about this whole ordeal and how it’s not really detected until you take that specific hep c test. i would strongly suggest that anyone who used intravenous drugs in the past get tests for hep c.

. What a relief it must be to finally be hep C free after all these years! I love your advice. Someone can become infected after only one injection, so I totally agree. The same goes for anyone who have been exposed to blood without wearing gloves. You just never know and the test is easier. Congratulations on becoming hep C-free! Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
