Can my insurance that I’ve had for the last 10 years denied me Hep c coverage for pre-existing clause if I was diagnosed with it before I had their insurance

Hi father,
Thank you for your question. Your insurance provider should be able to answer specific questions about your policy and hep C treatment.
Many of our hep C community members have shared that insurance companies have denied their hep C treatment, especially if they are considered "not sick enough". We recommend asking your doctor or other health care provider for help with getting approved for hep C treatment, and reaching out to your insurance provider directly. If you are denied, your healthcare provider may also be able to appeal for you.
We're including some more information below, and you can also consider calling Help-4-Hep if you need assistance.
