My husband was treated and cured from Hep-C But being diagnosed came too late

For thirty plus years my husband was sick with Hep-C and did not know it until it was too late. He was misdiagnosed. He was told he had Hemochromatosis and was treated for that year after year. No doctors ever noticed labs or his health being Hep-C until it was too late. He was treated for Hep-C in 2020 and cured. Unfortunately he is now battling cirrhosis of the liver. The damage done is not reversible. If he was tested for Hep-C fifteen years ago and treated for it when treatment first came available he would be a healthy man today.
