In 1986 I was 12 years old and had open back surgery. I was diagnosed with scoliosis since about five or six years old. In May of 2021 I was diagnosed with hepatitis C and fibrosis of the liver. I was terrified because the only person I had heard of having it was Natalie Cole.

I had my appendix removed in 1992. In 1994 they found out I was infected with hepatitis c. I cried I was depressed I have begun my treatment for interferon being Pentecostal and raised in church my Dad a minister. I ask why me. I had so many lows I hated it the injections the pain but most I was disappointed In God I thought he existed In 1995 my grandmother died more depressed for me. My parents were getting ready to go to the airport to go to Puerto Rico for her funeral. I was lying in bed when I heard somebody call my name .again I heard my name this time I heard get up and go to servand my dad asking to pray for you I got up and went to my father I said. I think God just talked to me. He looked at the door and prayed for me I felt a little peace. They left the devil and began to look at u the faithful one who prayed is dying., let me jump they got back from Puerto Rico I went back to therapy for liver screenings and interferon 3 months passed since my dad prayed for me. I was God is not real. I devoted my life to u I pray why I'm being punished for what? What I did do wrong. ? I was dying more of depression Well I went to my appointment with my box of needles for my doctor he checked me..tell me ok I put my clothes on and went to the desk to get another bottle to place my needles I'm depressed when I'm walking down the stairs one of the nurse is screaming my name to come back...I went in I looked and saw my Doctor with the other doctors coming I looked in slow motion and said oh no I'm dying I probably have months I felt cold My Doctor was hey you hate you left. you live without my permission he jokes. but he laughed they went inside with me The other especially laughed and placed her hand on my shoulder she said you are free of heppettatis c they hugged me I was crying he said you are free for e months when waged to be sure and my Doctor said I must confess and Admit is a miracle the other Dictor said I never saw a drug work so fast but yes is a miracle I could not believe it I want down the stairs to my brother car hug my dad went home and scream I LOVE YOU, GOD, THis WAS IN 1994. I'M STILL CHRISTIAN IN 2019 I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL THEY CALLED ME AND CAME POSITIVE FOR HEPATITIS I NEEDED TO GO BACK. DIFFERENT CITIES DIFFERENT DOCTORS, WHEN I HUNG UP I LAUGHED I FELT SO MUCH PEACE I WAS NOT NERVOUS I SAID THE DEVIL WAS PLAYING WITH ME THEY TOOK MY BLOOD CAME. I CAME HOME THEY. THEY SAY THEY WILL CALL ME. PHONE RINGS ARE ME DOCTOR YOU GOT A FALSE POSITIVE. SHE SAID U HAVE CLEARED THERE NOTHING. WE WON'T TEST YOU AGAIN. AMEN. GLORY TO GOD. THAT IS MY GOD AND WHAT HE CAN DO GOD WAS NOT GIVING ME A BATTLE I COULDN'T HANDLE HE TASTED ME BUT IT WAS NOT MY TIME IT WAS GOD'S TIME ..LIKE HE TOLD ABRAHAM WHEN HE SAID'M 91 AND OLD YOU PROMISE A KID WITH SARAH AND THE LAND OF ISRAEL. GO D'S PROMISES ARE NEVER EMPTY ABRAHAM UNDERSTOOD AT 91 HE BECAME A FATHER. PLEASE DONT DESPAIR LOOK FOR GOD IN good times AND BAD walking with our Lord is much easier than being alone

Many people do get false positive tests from the antibody test after they are cured because the antibodies you created to fight the virus are still present. In the future, it might be best to request that your doctor skip the antibody test and go right to the HCV-RNA test, though I hope you never have to go through that again.
