What side effects has everyone experienced with Epclusa?
I start Epclusa next week, the nurse at the clinic told me there were very few side effects with new treatments yet I keep reading that some people got really sick during and post-treatment, any feedback appreciated.
Hi Dance, Everyone's journey with treatment is different. The vast majority of patients report that treatment was very doable. those who have done interferon and ribavirin report that they breezed through treatment. Please don't let those who claim to have had a difficult time keep you from trying. Worse comes to worse you could always quite. But I bet that won't happen. (Sue, Community Moderator)
Thanks for your reply Sue ,i hope you are right as i.dont feel great with copd symptoms tiredness no energy ect, i have heard a lot of negative experiences of ppl on interferon ribaviron ,i heard epclusa has less sideffects so far. Thanks
I finished Epclusa 6 weeks ago. Very mild side effects of increased fatigue, headache, nausea. The only symptom that remains is fatigue for me that I’ve had for 40 years anyway due to Hep C. Treatment was very easy. I’m looking forward to feeling much better in time as I recover and heal.
