Hepatitis C is curable! Within the past few years, advancements in treatment regimens called direct acting antivirals (DAA’s) offer safe, well tolerated and effective options that provide a Hep C cure. Please talk to your doctor about the best plan for your personal medical care. See the attached article for more information: https://hepatitisc.net/living/hepatitis-c-101-can-hepatitis-c-be-cured/

There are medications available that can possibly help achieve SVR. SVR (Sustained Virologic Response) is having undetected virus for at least 6 months post treatment. So those that have SVR are considered virologically cured. More information on this here; https://hepatitisc.net/living/hepatitis-c-101-can-hepatitis-c-be-cured/.
