How is hepatitis c transmitted

How is hepatitis c transmitted? I've been told that is transmitted by saliva (kissing) but all the articles I have seen say blood to blood

  1. Hi . Hepatisis C is a blood-borne virus, which means it can only be transmitted when someone's infected blood comes into contact with the blood of someone who is not infected. Here is an article that explains it better than I can: https://hepatitisc.net/what-is/transmission. I hope this helps. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. tattoos, piercings. dds and drs who don’t follow safety protocols and it doesn’t have to be surg. it could be a colonoscopy. using other peoples razors and toothbrushes. sharing drug paraphernalia such as needles or even snorting drugs through straws, etc. blood transfusions before a certain date before they tested for hep c. we had a local blood place that was closed down because of health violations. we used to give blood and they’d extract the part they wanted and give us back what they didn’t. they paid us. Hep c is blood transmitted.
