Are hep c antibodies dangerous to others? Cause infection to others?
I got antibodies and done all advanced tests, no virus found, so am I normal? Can I be contagious to others? I got married after confirming there was no virus, and we have children now, do they need to do tests?
No, the antibodies are not contagious. Only the actual virus is contagious. Once cured the antibodies will still be there but cannot infect anyone. They also do not protect you from getting hep C again. (Sue, Community Moderator)
