When I was first infected with hepatitis c. It was an abscess on a stich it would come and go for years until they removed it. The first symptoms which started fairly soon probably within the first year after the initial surgery was I could not sleep and I just wasnt thinking right.

Hi . We are not medical experts, but, generally, researchers say it takes at least two weeks for any symptoms to appear after infection. If you don't mind me asking, what makes you suspect you had a cross infection? I would strongly suggest you get tested, regardless. If you don't, you will always wonder.
