I looked into your question and it seems that existing studies can’t confirm or exclude the risk for hepatitis C transmission in a salon. With that said, I think it depends on your comfort and the situation. All grooming supplies should be cleaned after client use, so transmission risks should be low. Transmission risks would increase if you accidentally got cut and drew blood, though I imagine the odds of that are low too. I hope this is a helpful response.
