How has living with hep C affected your sleep?

We know that living with hep C can affect how some people sleep and rest. Share your experiences, tips, and more below about coping with sleep loss from hep C.

  1. Although my Hep C experience is a bit different from others because I accepted a Hep C heart, I still have liver disease and liver failure. Because of having multiple heart surgeries, receiving a transplant and having liver failure, I’ve had many sleepless nights. I suffer from insomnia from all the medical trauma I’ve been through in my life. I’ve tried melatonin, but it works few and far between for me. Before going to sleep, I listen to calm music or read a book to cope with the sleepless nights I have, which is more frequent than I would like to have. (Leslie, Community Moderator)
