Daniel Winterbottom lives in Seattle, Washington where he is a professor of landscape architecture at the University of Washington. One of his foci is the design of, and research on, therapeutic and restorative gardens. He was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2002 and underwent successful treatment in 2017.
