My friend's brother died and no one knew it was from hep C. He was afraid of losing his job, so he never treated. It's time to stop the stigma with hep C.
No one can say whether he would have beat liver cancer or stayed on the transplant list. With the hep C virus raging in his liver, he never had a chance. He got so sick, so very quickly. After being on the same job for over 20 years, it breaks my heart to think he didn't feel like he could tell anyone. I hope you will pass this on to anyone who needs to get help and get treatment.
