Ultrasound finding

Ultrasound finding says”There is a subtle nodularity of the liver contour. I’m assuming this means very early cirrhosis?
Well I was told on the phone that there was nodules they left out a very important word “subtle”.
Not sure why they would’ve left that out when they told me that on the phone I think that makes me feel a bit better.Should It?

  1. Hi grant, thank you for sharing your health and recent test results with us. Did your doctor recommend any follow-up testing? Do you know if the nodules are benign or non-malignant in cause? Unfortunately we are not able to provide medical advice and recommend reaching out to professional who read your results for more information.

I am sharing an article below by a patient advocate with more information on nodules. Kim had stage four liver cirrhosis and also had nodules develop on her liver. She shares her experience getting tested and navigating uncertainty. I hope that this is helpful! We're here with you for support. -Matt (Community Manager)

    1. Thank you for the reply. No there are no masses no cancer. It states subtle nodularity of liver contour.

    2. I’m glad to hear that you have no masses or cancer. As far as determining whether or not is the early stages of liver cirrhosis, the best person to give you complete and accurate results would be a medical professional. (Leslie, Community Moderator)
