  1. Oh no, EllerMay66! I'm so sorry to hear you're having to endure this! How awful! Have you talked to your provider about this? They may be able to intervene if this is becoming a quality of life affecting symptom! If you haven't talked to your doctor yet, and get a chance to chat with them in the near future, let us know what they say! We're here for you and thinking of you! -Casey, HepatitisC.net Team

    1. awww thanks Casey your very sweet!! iv gone to skin specialist. they say the steroid cream is really all they can do. it's slit better than it used to be. iv noticed more stressful times I swear spurs it in. but I just started using running alcohol and cotton balls and just clean clean clean. then wash then oil. that has seemed to help also. Hugzs❤

      1. Of course, EllerMay66! I hope you've experienced a little relief since we last spoke, and are enjoying your weekend! I'm thinking of you! I'm sorry to hear that there's nothing else to be done right now medication-wise, but it does sound like your doctor is on top of things and listening to your concerns, which is always good to hear. Is this the case?

I'm also glad to hear that you've found a natural treatment option for this, and that it seems to help! Great!! Please keep us posted! Sending hugs your way! -Casey, HepatitisC.net Team

    2. Many patients with liver disease have itch, which is technically called Cholestatic Pruritis:

Sadly, in medicine, we have very few good solutions for itching, other than to treat the root cause.

If you have Hep C then getting rid of it would have to be the #1 item on the list.
