Extrahepatic menifestations
Hi. I was discharged in 74 with HCV which was'nt a familiar topic then. But, the VA confirmed it. My symptoms did'nt show bad until 2019. I was successfully treated and undetectable... But, shortly via another test have been diagnosed with stage 2 CKD. Has any of you folks gone thru something like this. I did'nt have this condition before HCV.

. Unfortunately, chronic kidney disease is not uncommon for people who have been infected with Hep C. The risk is low if the disease is treated soon after infection, but it goes up the longer Hep C is untreated. With dietary changes and medication, the progression can be slowed significantly. Are you on a good treatment plan?
