    1. Hi , I hope you're doing well! You can be retreated with the current hep C medications. There are a few instances where you may need to be retreated: if treatment fails the first time (less than 10% risk), reinfection (1% risk), or recurrence (when a virus comes back after being cleared from the body, less than 1% risk). If any of these events happen, you can and probably should be retreated. Here are a few articles that may help: https://hepatitisc.net/clinical/reinfection-recurrence, https://hepatitisc.net/clinical/retreatment -Jessica, Team Member

      1. I was treated with interferon had to inject 3x a week for 16 months, didn't cure me,that being said I would have to take t interferon plus ribaviron well I think I'd rather die than to have to inject interferon AGAIN why I didn't cure the first time, plus the side effects of either one are to much of a risk for me.im doing OK with it all,yes I have issues but I believe with eating right no alcohol or drugs with 1exception I do smoke Marijuana and will continue that's my medicine of choice, also I do not stress about anything.Have a beautiful life I will check ur links
