I could have gotten it anywhere I have been in health care 30 years I woke up a week ago and I’m yellow they just diagnosed my two days ago but they want to do a liver biopsy and I don’t know why isn’t the hepC enough to make me yellow.

    They need to see if you are badly cirrhotic or possible liver cancer. I assume you had full labs including liver enzymes, platelets, fibrosure blood test. However it is important to find out where your liver stands. A lot of doctors don’t do liver biopsy nowadays but if there is indication something else might be going on, it is good to check. They also use fibroscore test, which is more like an ultrasound. I would call your doctors office.
